Steven Healy and Kyle Norton were quoted in Campus Legal Advisor discussing the Clery Act. The U.S. Department of Education’s record-breaking $14 million fine in March against Liberty University for Clery Act violations certainly has shock factor. And it should be enough to bring everyone from the most lax to even the most diligent institutional compliance professionals out of their compliance complacency and into a renewed focus on the accuracy of their annual campus safety reports.
